Every child is unique and deserves to have the ultimate camp experience. Since 1952, Plantation Farm Camp has given kids a place to explore the world around them, design their own program, be a part of a community and to grow. Each camper experiences the magic of Plantation in their own way as they choose the experiences that will make their time at camp the most meaningful.

...when kids choose their own activities?

Campers are integral parts of designing the program and they select their own activities. Their passion makes camp vibrant and exciting. Campers bring their excitement to each moment of camp as they choose what activite to participate in on their own (not as a set group), they make powerful friendships, and can explore their individual interests.  We help foster their decision-making skills,  social and emotional development, and spark their creativity.

...when kids are part of a community?

Everyone at Plantation Farm Camp is a member of the family. We are located on a sustainable farm and we all contribute to the work on the farm.  Together, we are able to accomplish more than any single person could. This is a part of the magic that campers experience as they see how important their contributions are.

With each day, campers become more confident as they settle into the community. This allows them to explore more, find new inspiration, and go beyond what they thought was possible. The growth starts as kids join us at camp and becomes almost exponential over the last two weeks. Confidence, resilience, and interpersonal skills flourish in this rich environment.

Plantation is where kids grow.
