The Costume Loft

This weekend we bid a fond farewell to the Druids Costume Loft. Dave and Suzanne are hard at work bringing Druids back to the centerpiece of camp that it had been for so many years. The exterior renovations, completed last summer, are amazing and Im sure that we will all be just as thrilled by the work that is being done inside. As part of the ongoing renovations, the loft needed to be taken down as it wasn't safe nor was it part of the original structure. 

Not to worry, the costumes have been moved down to the Apple Dryer so that many old favorites that haven't been seen in years will be back for camp this summer and for years to come. With the help of an intrepid group of counselors, we sorted through hundreds of dresses, hats, kimonos, jackets, etc.  Given all the inspiration, I thought that K-Mo just might start directing Drama #1 right there on the spot.  A huge thank you to Kelly Morton (aka K-Mo), Katie Lawyer, and Liz Cooney for tackling the project with me. Literally, I couldn't have done it without them and it would have been nowhere near as fun.
