A busy weekend for camp
Posted By: Kelly Marston
Some of you might be totally snowed in (I talked to a camp mom in Chicago
and they were hunkering in for another snow day) or just have cool winter weather (we're expecting the weather to get to the 60's today). Still, in the thick of winter we are very busy at camp. Jenny has a bunch of new lambs on the farm, the goats are visiting with the billy, and the meadows are green and lush. Staff interviews are underway and have great returning and new staff (check out on Facebook and the website for updates).
Most importantly it's camper recruitment season. We've already had a number of home visits and Open Houses at the farm as well as schools. John was in Denver last week and is back on the road again. This weekend you can find Plantation at:
- Seattle, Saturday from 10am to 2pm at St. Thomas School
- Pasadena, Saturday from 10am to 3pm at Westridge School
- Los Angeles, Sunday from 11am to 2pm at Marymount High School
Bring a friend! Catch a little camp fever in February!
